At the end of a hard day at Disneyland, my 8 year old boy started to complain.
It’s not hard right now, you’re weak and you just don’t have the capacity right now.
When it gets hard, champions keep going. You can do way more than you think you can.
In your workouts, your family, your spirituality, and your business, do you give up early?
You can walk a little farther, push a little longer, and ALWAYS do more than you think is possible.
You’re not good enough YET.
Take a look at anything you do in your life. It’s not that it’s hard, it’s that you’re not strong enough yet.
The story you tell yourself the most is the one you will believe the most.
When things get stressful and things get hard: don’t wish things were easier, wish you were stronger.
Tell a different story. I can, I will, I do, I earn, I’m a champion. That self talk programs the new story, which programs the emotions you feel, which programs everything else.
*Where in your life do you still give up early?
*Where in your life today can you push a little more and become more?
*Are you telling a story that serves you, or are you still telling a story that is useless?
Things aren’t hard right now, you’re just not strong enough YET.
