Hey champ,
Right now, you might be wondering if that winner inside of you still exists. You remember him/her don’t you? The person who believed the world was amazing and full of purpose and opportunity. You see, super successful people all have a dark secret. (They think it’s a secret, but it’s usually obvious to everyone else.) The secret is – they’re only super successful in one or two areas of their life.
Shocking right?
Not really. It’s pretty simple and logical actually.
If you’re amazing at business, it’s natural that you would struggle at family and personal relationships. If you pour your heart and soul into your business, it’s pretty predictable that your body and health are going to start suffering from neglect at some point. If you’re hard-wired as a family man or woman, it’s not surprising that you might struggle to create the intensity and focus required to build the business empire you want.
Nobody comes out of the womb great at everything.
Not even me. Not even you.
But, for some reason, we think we should and so, we start trying to hide what we suck at and what we’re embarrassed about. We take all those things and put them on a shelf back in the dark corner of our souls, and don’t give them any time or attention.
And then what happens?
Those things start to rot. They turn black and grow mold. They start to stink and fester. Eventually they sicken the whole house. The whole family. The whole mind. The whole soul.
All of this leads to a really interesting phenomenon people experience when they first meet me.
The thing people are the most shocked by when they start coaching with me is how little I’m shocked by.
Did you catch that?
Yes, people psych themselves up, they build up the courage to tell me their crazy, whacked out, “you’re not gonna believe this super” super secret, AND THEN… I’m usually like, “Cool. Thanks for being honest and telling me. Are you committed to fixing that? Great. Let’s go.”
Honestly, nothing shocks me anymore.
I’ve coached men through the strongest and most debilitating addictions. I’ve coached women through the most brutal and depraved forms of abuse. I’ve coached teenagers who have lived through things for their whole lives that adults should never see.
And there’s one thing I’ve learned through it all: You can still have what you want. No matter what. It’s all still possible. It’s all still waiting for you. If your heart still dreams, that dream is there for a reason.It’s never too late. You’ve never gone too far to get back home.
The past hurts, but it doesn’t matter. It only matters if and because you let it. You are at choice to let it go and start building your life with brand new possibilities, patterns, and programs. And, start right now.
