As a Coach, there are a lot of people that reach out to me on a regular basis about what it’s going to take to achieve their Calling.

Simplest answer?

TELL THE TRUTH.

I got off of the phone with a woman that wants to coach as well and she asked many questions that didn’t seem as if she was ready for the level of commitment that coaching with live events and taking on the time clients needed.

This reminded me that there are various ways we can answer someone that’s not ready to hear the truth.

We can give them a fluffy answer that doesn’t cover the facts of failure…

OR

We can tell them the cold hard facts of where they’re currently at.

People don’t really want the truth…they want something that will sugar coat or cover up or even sedate.

She wanted to do the least amount of work for the greatest results, unwilling to invest in the time, energy and money that achieving her dream will cost. Instead of looking at how much you can save, it’s about looking at what we’re willing to commit to paying  and investing in.

Across all areas of your life, do you really want to know why you walk around in fear, doubt and worry or are you simply looking for answers to sedate and cover up?

Why do you allow this doubt in? Because you’re not ready for the exposure that the truth will bring.

In A Few Good Men, there’s a famous scene about orders that were made in a military trial and the declaration was made after being riddled with questions:

YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

If you really want to be happy…seek the truth.

The truth sets you free, but it’s not going to be sugar-coated.

And it may not be cheap.

How much are you willing to pay to tell the truth and seek to be exposed?

I had another individual that asked for feedback, but she admitted that she wasn’t ready to receive it.

If you want to live a life that you want, you’re going to have to be willing to be EXPOSED and to hearing the stone-cold, brutal truth.

Nothing worthwhile in life is going to be given to us in a sweet and fluffy form.

If business tactics and strategies keep you warm and comfy, you’re going to fail.

Those that truly want to succeed and excel need the truth to slap them in the face so that they can be set free with the truth.

Can you handle the truth?

Look at your life and the depth of the relationships with the people around you.

Accept the truth…find the root of the problem and work on it.

Ask yourself:

* Where in my life am I not telling the truth about what I truly want?

* What am I worried will expose me by hearing the truth?

* Can I handle the truth?

If you want to live a life full of results, seek the truth and stop avoiding it.
